it's been raining for like, more than 24 hours already, and throughout today's entire training, which was very sad, cos i was the only year1 girl who went down, rah!
was pouring, and there were crazy people still swimming at like, 8.30pm. in the freaking rain. bet they were pasty china men. bet they think it's freezing chlorinated water has properties to make them like, more virile or something. erps.
was rather happy at first when tong li suggested we could just do land in the shelter, but seniors all v gung ho, so i made myself think it'll be like, quite cool to train in the rain. i can go around telling friends ("oh, you know, i once trained in a total water blizzard and it was like, 18 degrees, and the lightning was flashing so much it was like day time. but of course, it was one of the best trainings i've had...") and make myself sound very pro. turned out it was more of cold than cool, so it wasn't actually very cool. on the upside, there is no way you can feel sleepy in the rain, but i feel that's not a good trade off of benefits.
but learned edging today!! immensely satisfied. i can tip until spraydeck touch water le. but half the time will cap. and that made it all the more colder. but still is long-awaited improvement, now to cure butterfingers. cheng yu was throwing to me, and he was careful to use double hand, and it was such a nice pass, and i could see it coming to me and i was so sure i caught it (i thought to myself yes, easy pass, can catch) but the next moment the ball was in my face, and my nose is now flatter than ever. i guess it compliments my high cheekbones from the last time... ¬_¬;
