am home again. spent two nights in school... coming up next, four days of polo camp and 5 days of usp freshmen orientation camp back to back. i want to post pictures... but they're in my handphone and i've no way to beam them over to blogger, because my whitebook is still in sad disrepair. somebody save my whitebook :(
finally at home after 5 nights. back to singapore and yet i don't show face at home, and i still don't have internet connection at school cos my mac charger is still down.
this lovely week started on a bright Monday. whoever said mondays were blue? this must have been my most peaceful monday ever. reached school early to have breakfast with jianhao, bitchbuddy and gay magnet. gay magnet as in, magnet for gay people, and not a strange affectionate nickname or anything.
then it was the start of post-trip 75page report haze. when we were still relaxing at chatterbox...

the mess of industrious people at work
we split up at noon to putter about our own things. after a gym session, in which i killed myself with cotton-light weights after a month of Peking duck, and in which my two fellow macho gymers still made me feel extremely sporty by hanging mostly around the bench with comfortable mats, i found junyi, evelyn and huipang at the library. an acutely embarassing accident happened then that required that i run to the YIH toilet to buy sanitary pads for special purposes. but that is not my story to tell.
we stayed over just because we don't want to go home. we're spontaneous like that XD

the start of my favouritest week this year. more of my drab and boring life to come. but! it will soon change! because i have a Master Plan.
30th reunion on saturday had a great turnout! although i was in a dumpy mood, was so glad to see chiobu and ailin again. were supposed to meet at changi v at 0945, but we only did around 1130, cos everyone knows not to go too early... hee.
on the boat ride, where you're not supposed to stand at the back to enjoy the wind anymore:
and at tian chi fence, which was holed up (again) and cut open by kind charitable souls for community benefits (again).
and it's as beautiful as it ever was. all in the process of being destroyed by the government of course. when they skipped over chek jawa, they had to demolish something else. heard that all the water's going to be taken out and they're going to reopen the quarry again.
we entered to relive memories of our youth, but got lost:
but the old path was there. our aspiring khaki-clad, white socked, leg-haired juniors might have cleared it. this is a small peep of the quarry near the bottom, with leaves artfully overexposed. as was intended.
what later generations of oac-ers will never see again:

here's a parting picture of the ubin shore masquerading as maui. only that it's so much more beautiful :)
if anyone wants to go to ubin, do it now! before they build (even more) little huts, spray out the mosquitoes, domesticate the wild boars, or start a coconut plantation to fund the thirsty touristing industry.
